World Cup Finals

Wow...what a way to end the World Cup...penalty kicks, Zedane getting red carded (very much deserved), called back goals by Italy, questionable penalty kick for France...
Again, wow...even though France seemed to control the ball more than the Italians, the Italians were definitely able to finish their offensive plays. And again, Zedane...at that calibre, with that many people watching, during your last professional game EVER, what where you thinking??!! Very unprofessional, that single play will mask much of your greatness, and it has definitely dropped you down on the list of my favorite athletes!! But on a side note, what a killer headbutt ;-)

Good day of World Cup Soccer

Saturday was a good World Cup soccer day!!
First game: England vs. Portugal...went all the way to shootout! I can't believe that Portugal won while missing 2 penalty kicks wide! And Rooney deserved to be kicked out of the game for that nonsense!
Second game: Brazil vs. France...viva la France!! Definitely a mental game, for some reason France seems to have this mental voodoo thing over Brazil, and they just weren't able to play their game...I guess that's what the World Cup is about...half mental game and half physical game. Can't wait till Tuesday!
